About Me
Ayla Beck (she/her) is a filmmaker and artist based in the Pacific Northwest who recently graduated with an associate's degree in integrated digital media and video production. When Ayla quietly stares off into space, she is thinking about the things cool people think about: like British TV dramas, vocal jazz, or how long she could last before being burned as a witch if she were suddenly transported to 17th-century America.
She's a fast-learning, dedicated nerd. When something goes wrong, she doesn't yell or throw things. Instead, she raises her eyebrows, works to solve the problem, and is generally really chill. She’s an advocate of working hard, playing hard, and combining the two whenever possible. Ayla's down to make anything from music videos to informational videos, live event recordings to scripted fiction shorts. Plus she loves to edit and animate. But most of all, her favorite projects are the ones where she gets to tell stories that make you laugh — but also make you think.
